Metro Testing + Engineering Ltd is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support our Surrey operations and testing department.

The person will be working on site at our Surrey Office and will report to the Operations Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management
  • Manage front desk activities such as greeting visitors and answering incoming calls with professionalism and phone etiquette
  • Assist with customer support by addressing inquiries and providing information about our services
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Dispatching testing technicians to the job sites
  • Assist in managing phone systems to ensure efficient communication within the organization 

What you need to have:

  • Previous experience in customer service or admin support
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills with a customer service-oriented approach
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with phone systems and handling customer inquiries is a plus
