Our History at a Glance

Metro Testing Laboratories Ltd was created in 1987 by entrepreneur Harry Watson. Through visionary leadership, understanding, and a team of dedicated and hardworking employees, Metro Testing expanded its operations, building a solid reputation within the construction industry along the way.

With 32 years of substantial growth and recognition, the successful acquisition and addition of numerous companies and divisions and a financial merger that afforded us the ability to expand our reach across BC and Alberta, 2019 is a year of renewal and re-branding.  We are now operating as Metro Testing + Engineering, a name that more accurately reflects the extensive experience and expertise that Metro has to offer and to position us to be top of mind for any testing, engineering, and consulting needs in the construction industry.
