We are hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Abbotsford office.  This is a full-time permanent position and will require the person to work onsite.  This role supports essential daily administrative functions and coordinates office operations, contributing to a smoothly functioning workplace and enabling the team to operate effectively.

What you will be doing

  • Answer overflow phone calls and redirect or take messages
  • Set up new customer and projects/ data entry
  • Schedule and arrange special events, meetings, announcements
  • Filing (physical and electronic)
  • Reconcile Gas receipts and payables
  • Maintain inventory of safety and office supplies
  • Compile and update the monthly company vehicle work kms in excel
  • Print and sort site work memos
  • Perform general clerical functions (e.g. filing, copying, printing, mailing, binding, laminating)
  • Other duties as assigned by the management

What you need to have

  • Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role; experience in a professional service is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in office administration is an asset.
