Project Manager

Solving problems is your passion. You have consulted and provided solutions to your clients’ needs. You visited sites around BC and faced lots of unique engineering situations. You led a team of field technicians and managed subcontractors. You know how to run and coordinate successful projects.  You could be our new project manager to assist our Division Team Lead with preparing proposals and to sign off projects. The PM will manage of a portfolio of clients and provide them with technical advice.  The PM will provide leadership during the project and work with a team of Biologists, Scientists and technicians.

What you will be doing:

• Support the business development activities with the Division Team Lead
• Meet with clients and prospects to understand heir requirements and prepare proposals
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, budget, resources and project risk before and during the project
• Be the point of contact for the clients during the project
• Prepare and review reports before signing them off

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 3 + years of project management experience as P. Eng, P.Ag, P. Chem or P.Geo.
• Familiar with The Environmental Management Act is an asset
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• A valid BC Class 5 Drivers’ License and access to a vehicle for work related travel
• Proficient with computers and various software programs (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, gINT).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset
