Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
Metro Testing + Engineering provides scanning services of concrete of asphalt using ground penetrating radar (GPR) which provides the non-destructive analysis of walls, floors, and ceilings to identify hidden utilities such as water, electricity, gas, and duct work to allow access for servicing or modification. GPR is also used for identifying hidden structural elements such as steel cables, beams, and other obstructions. Related services include cutting and coring of concrete and asphalt with drilled holes from ¼” to 12” in diameter. Comprehensive 3D mapping of a surface can also be provided if required.
